| According to the press conference for the 2010 Xiamen International Marathon on Thursday, the annual event will be held on January 2nd, 2010. 50,000 runners The event includes 5K, 10K, half and full marathon race. The number of runners will grow to 50,000 this year, including 30,000 in the 5K and 10K race and 20,000 in the half and full marathon race. The Xiamen International Marathon has become one of the biggest marathons in China Engineering Plastic Parts. Registration cut-off date: Dem. 26th On-line registration for the 2010 Xiamen International Marathon will start on Oct. 9th while on-site registration on Nov. 2nd. Participants can also use a travel agency to enter for the marathon. The entry fee is the same as last year, injection molding parts 40 yuan for Chinese participants (include Taiwan, Macao and Hong Kong), 20 dollars for foreigners and 15 yuan for students. The entry fee will double after Dec. 13th. Time limit be extended to 7 hours The time limit for the full marathon will be extended to 7 hours from the previous 6 hours to help more participants complete the full course at the 8th Xiamen International Marathon in 2010. The time limit for 5K race is 1 hour while 10K is 1.5 hours, half-marathon is 3 hours, 30K is 4.5 hours and 35K is 5.5 hours. |
